Hope that everyone will have a very Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year 2024, everyone! This 2023 has been a really tough, draining and straining year for me and also one of the hardest work schedules I've faced coupled with the loss of several members of my family and loved ones, but and so thankful to have my family and friends being there for me and helping me to ride the hard waves and coming through less scathed than expected, and as all the culminated workload is being wrapped up soon and hope that the results will prove rewarding in the end.
I know many folks out there are also having a trying year or past few years so far, but really hope that this season and holiday break will be able to bring a bit of joy and happiness to you and your family out there. Please take good cares there and stay safe always.
Cheers and Merry Christmas, folks!
More exciting news - The animation short I've worked on last year called "Footprints in the Forest", will be featured this month in GSC cinemas alongside a slew of other amazing titles created by our wonderful local talents. Is so great to see so many lovely local content being produced right now, and now being showcased altogether in one season for the first time in our industry's history, it's mind blowing! Do keep a lookout for it!

I'd never thought I'd have the opportunity again to finally get to set foot in Annecy. Lost the chance last 2020 during the big covid outbreak that robbed me of that opportunity, but thank God that a 2nd chance was afforded to me last week when we were selected among a few other Malaysian studios to join the South East Asian teams (From Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines) to come and pitch our new IP titles during the event. It was too surreal to say the least. Annecy is really an amazing place and had a primordial sense about it high mountain range surrounding a lake where remnants of the glacier had melted yarns ago. It's summer right now but it's so hard to imagine that this entire place will experience snowy winters when the season arrives. Want to give a big shout out to my boss, ED, and to MDEC for this 2nd chance to be here. The best part about this entire trip is not only being in a place where the entire animation world and creative talents converge for a whole week of celebrating the medium and sharing of new ideas and passion, but it was also the moments to be able to meet old friends and familiar faces again whilst forging new friendships with like-minds. What an amazing experience and week it's been!
Last weekend, had the opportunity to participate in University Tungku Abdul Rahman's Telling Tales event in colaboration with some panel speakers from Taiwan and thankful to say that I've survived it and it was a blast! Personal thanks to Joanne Lai & Eugene Foo for the invite and for hosting the talk and keeping me calm during the session. And thanks to Clare Tan for also joining in to make the session more interactive and spontaneous rather than just a moderate key note address sort of presentation.
It's been such a long while that I've had to put DA updates on the backburner while realities of working life just sped through year after year. Am now in a more comfortable position whereby I've managed to move my entire life abroad to live out a new chapter with my hubbie in France while still maintaining my current job back in Malaysia. And the pandemic has afforded me more time now to reflect and try to give more time into my personal projects and updates.
Sincerest apologies to everyone who've been following me and I sort of dropped out of sight for a long stint. Am currently more active in my FB and instagram pages, which you can find me here :-

A new life, a new chapter, new updates to share where I've been and what I've been up to all this time. Hope to be able to kickstart a lot of new things during this current situation whereby some of us are able to finally re-gear and restart our personal projects.
Cheers and thanks so much for sticking around, folks!
