*CHECK OUT the step-by-step process at...[link] Guys, I need your help. I tried uploading the vid file into DA but without any success. So I'm afraid you'll just have to view the short clip in YouTube for now till I figure things out. Due to many requests on how I go about getting started in a drawing,and apparently some are still not satisfied with the step-by-step drawing refs I've posted in the past, here's a short clip of how I draw for y'all. Sorry its a bit blur and it cuts off midway...my digicam memory card was running out of space, but anyways,hope it'll do for now till I can get something better out. This is specially for  and for the rest of you out there,you know who you are, who've asked.  Sorry it took so long to get this out. Oops! Forgot to mention about the process...first of all,sometimes I'd get a stick figure going at one side of the sheet before I anticipate to roughly and lightly sketch out the guidelines. I will always start with doing the face first before the rest of the body come together. I've used a pencil I knicked from the hotel,but u can all use a steady B pencil for that same purpose. After I'm satisfied with the guidelines, I'll quickly start to darken the outline with my trtusty red mech pencil. I always try to nail the eye and expression first,giving life to the character. Then the rest will follow easily. Cheers folks! |
