Makan-Makan

The most popular culture I can think of that we Malaysians are passionate about - Eating. And eating all of our favorite local dishes from Nasi Kandar, Dim Sum,Steamboat,Durian,Nasi Lemak,Wan Tan Mee etc. This painting was the very last one I submitted that was way overdue,at the very last hour that day before my curator called it a night when prepping for the show. And even then,I was still frantically painting the last few characters and inking in before finally framing it and handing it over. Ironically what turned out to be the last painting handed over,actually turned out to be the first sold,and before the exhibition even begun. Cheers folks!
